We're Back!

After a long period of absence we are finally back in action!

We will be starting off the proceedings by holding an informal meet up in Mareel Cafe Bar on  Friday April 5th from 1-2pm.  We will be discussing the format and focus of future meetings, as well as catching up with each other's progress.

New members are always welcome  - the only criteria is that you are a researcher based in Shetland, or based elsewhere but working on material related to Shetland. If that describes you then please come along - any disciplinary background is welcome!

October Meeting

We're back!

The summer break is over, so it's time to get back to our monthly meetings.

The next meeting will take place on Wendesday 19th October, 7.30pm at the SAT offices in Lerwick.

Our speaker this month will be Lauren, who will be giving a test run of a paper entitled 'Hot Stuff' Embodied Engagements at Burnt Mound sites in Shetland' to be given at the Scottish Archaeological Forum this coming weekend.

Of course, we've all been busily beavering away over the past few months, so there will be plenty to talk about besides!
